I have the funniest first graders. Today we were reading through a book called "Who's Faster?" One little girl suddenly announced, "My sister can run faster than a tortoise or a squirrel!" When I asked her how old her sister was, she said, "Eleven."
One of my other little girls was reading "I Can Help." When she hit the part saying "I can help make the bed," she said baby instead. Oh, my.
